Wayward Strand Game Review

Wayward Strand is a moving emotional narrative game made up of a variety of distinct threads. They all are played out at the same time on an airborne hospital from the 1970s in Australia.
Wayward Strand lets you take on the role of Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent patient who comes to the hospital for the first experience. She will be exploring the story of the ship’s past, its characters, and relationships between them during the following three days.
After arriving, she is able to look around the cabins that house the ship’s bizarre and wonderful residents. She will be able to choose whom she would like to spend the time with, and meet them. Staff members can serve as shadows as they walk around the ship, or you can explore the ship and discover the dark history of the ship.
Residents of the hospital are a diverse group, with many different personalities – many charming and others odder than others, each having their own dreams their own desires, goals, and dreams. Residents do whatever they wish, regardless of the personality of the player.
In the three days Casey stays on board in the ship, the people around her tell their stories – stories which she can examine. Every character acts and moves on their own terms, on their own timeline sharing stories with one others, expressing opinions; fighting and joking, gossiping or chatting with Casey whenever she stops close.
Casey will be exploring her airship’s numerous stories to find out how her actions can have an impact on them.
